CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (MCVL.org) – Adrian's Michael Burkhardt and Carthage's Kai Cromwell headline this week's honorees in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League.
Michael Burkhardt earns Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Bulldogs to a three-win week, averaging a .596 hitting percentage, which included a 10-kill performance against Maranatha. Adrian improved to 9-5 this season.
Kai Cromwell was named Defensive Player of the Week following his performance last week with the Red Men, averaging 3.67 digs per set. Carthage's lone match last week came with a three-set sweep over MSOE, led by Cromwell's 11 digs and two blocks.
